I...liked the movie and I wouldn't mind rewatching it. I would have nominated Iron Giant but apparently it's not allowed?I have no dickish ulterior motives. 3 hours 20 minutes isn't that long compared to the double features we did for HK month.

How about Sharks of the Sea and Land? Jaws (40th Anniversary is June 20th) and Tremors?
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
The Jackson Kong film is one that I'm somewhat conflicted on; it's definitely better than the first remake but falls well short of the original. In some ways, it's a harbinger of the problems that would plague The Hobbit but still has a lot to recommend it. Either way, I wouldn't mind watching it again.
Galaxy's already said The Iron Giant was valid so it's just as well somebody else nominated it.
Complicating things since 2009.
Here's the list so far.3 more to go.
- Big Ass Spider! (Huschel)
- The Host (Outerspec)
- Ghostbusters (Nami)
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (KaizokuJinbei)
- Godzilla (1954) (Nobodyman)
- King Kong (2005), Director's Cut (TLC)
- Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion (Robby)
- Godzilla: Final Wars (Cyan D. Funk)
- Pacific Rim (KageKageKing)
- The Iron Giant (Noqanky)
- Honey, I Blew Up The Kid (Valiantt)
- Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus (Kitsune Inferno)
- Clash of the Titans (1981) (Foolio)
- Jaws and Tremors (Double Feature) (Ubiq)
- Starship Troopers (Deviant_Mugen)

The Peter Jackson King Kong is one of those rare movies that makes me think that Jack Black is actually a pretty good actor.
I don't know if it counts, but Jack Black was also amazing in Kung Fu Panda.
I nominate Starship Troopers.
Seconded (or is it "thirded"?) on School of Rock and Bernie. Hell, seconded on Kung Fu Panda too. All great Jack Black films.
Also, damn, this list is loaded with great and more popular movies than my nomination. Damn, damn, damn! And my movie is so much fun for a monster flick! Think of movies like Cabin in the Woods and Starship Troopers. Satire people, satire! Except most people have seen those other movies but hardly anyone has seen The Host!
Everything's Eventual...
Yea, I'm with outerspec on this one. Even themes I don't even consider that much wind up with brutal brutal polls and a list of awesome movies I genuinely want to watch. Only exception was Hong kong, but that one was more of movies I knew nothing about but was interested in (and failed for the most part to remember to show up)
Well played peeps, well played.
Yeah, I think I'll limit it to double, mainly because a triple feature would be a big time investment for most people
If there's still room for more nominations, I'd like to nominate the 1961 Mysterious Island
Nobody else going to take advantage of a Creature Feature Double Feature?
Mysterious Island would be a good combo with 20,000 Leagues Beneath the Sea for instance.
Complicating things since 2009.
I'm considering adding on either Destroy All Monsters or vs. Destroyah onto my nomination.
