I've been trying to buy at least one album a week for the last couple of months after being too poor to get anything the last year.

So far I've got (with ratings/10!)

Nickel Creek - Why Should the Fire Die (9.5)
Chris Thile - Not All Who Wander Are Lost (9)
Nickel Creek - This Side (10)
    Garlic Storm - Tree (8)
    Nickel Creek - A Dotted Line (10)
Vilde Frang - Nielsen and Tchaikovsky Concertos (9)
    Berliner Philharmoniker - The Planets - (8)
    Lunasa - LA Nua (8.5)
    Lisa Hannigan - Passenger (6)
Nickel Creek - Nickel Creek (8.5)

I'm looking to get Maria Schneider's Winter Morning Walks when I get paid tomorrow, as well as a Sarah Jarosz album. From what I've heard, those should be in the 8-10 range as well.

They're easily my favorite band right now. Even though they've changed pretty drastically from their first album until now, their music is still so addicting. They have this energy in their music like they just gel perfectly together. Even their covers whose originals I don't really care for like Hayloft and Spit on a Stranger, they're just wonderful.

Last album I bought was Imogen Heap - Sparks. Pretty good, I like most of the songs. Minds Without Fear is by far my favorite!

I bought a few CDs recently for solo singalongs in the car.

    Cave In - Jupiter
    Entombed - Wolverine Blues
    Motörhead - Orgasmatron

I've been getting into the habit of buying CDs again, really for that purpose. I've been using my driving as a way to practice vocals, haha. I'm looking for albums that I really know the lyrics of or can have fun singing along to. I think Wolverine Blues is my favorite for that purpose. God I can yell along to the title track all day:

It took Amazon a whopping 16 days, but I finally got my copy of XTC's White Music in the mail today.

A few weeks ago, I ended up in a little record store outside of Wilmington and found a Discharge record, a Sebadoh CD and a Destruction CD. The latter is such a fun album and I was really happy to find it. Destruction were always the more underrated of the German thrash trio and I'm not as keen on the albums they released contemporary to Kreator's and Sodom's best, but the Antichrist is such a goofy fun thrash album and I am blasting it everywhere.

Rattle That Lock by David Gilmour. Much better than The Endless River honestly.

Bought some new LPs and were so happy with them I had to share. :P
One is "weasels ripped my flesh" by Zappa, the other is less known "Roboterwerke" by Supersempfft. The Zappa one is a new release but the Supersempfft is never used so both of them played so good. I'm not used to non-used LPs. :v
