I really loved Itachi from part 1 because of all the build up around him and he was really intimidating.

We pretty much know Kishi ruined his character in part 2.

I really like Orochimaru because he had one of the most interesting motivation.

you can said that to everybody in Naruto. and the plot too.. part 1 he already build up everything but suddenly in part too, he retcon and create other plot and forgetting everything he had done in part1

He's an okay character, it's just that in my opinion he pales in comparison to villains like Deidara, Kakuzu and Pain in terms of sheer creativity. Orochimaru always seemed lame to me. You can slap a guy with jutsu after jutsu, but that's not going to make me like him (of course it's worse with Sasuke, who just inherits all his hax). Especially after his pitiful master plan during the Chuunin Exam totally failed to do everything but kill Sarutobi.

I liked Orochimaru (before he turned into Naraku)
He was creepy, but in a cool way and actually had a unique design...unlike characters like Pain and Deidara whose faces can only be distinguished from one another through piercings or ponytails)

His plan was also pretty good. He didn't totally destroy Konoha, but he did cut half their forces or something and kill the most powerful ninja in the village.
Also he played two villages off each other so he didn't even lose any of his own forces.

Some of them were easily defeated by Asuma. This was mostly a village of fodders I guess.

Not really. Turns out his "village" was just a couple isolated bunkers full of test subjects and henchmen. A bit disappointing, I'd like to have seen Orochimaru in control of some filled village with slums, thieves' dens and illegal gambling. Just an overall grungy place. Basically an antithesis to Konoha. Instead we had the character Pain in control of an actual village, the village hidden in the rain.

Yeah, I liked Naraku before he turned into Naraku. It's like the author tries to set them up as this eldritch terror, but they can't sustain it so they slide into mediocrity.
