EDIT: Also, I just want to say that someone specifically requested that I use Chrissie's Gun Fall in a car campaign. I didn't know what it was, but when I found it, I laughed so hard. My god...I will never look at Gun Fall ever again with a straight face.

Buahahahahaha! I am glad you guys liked that silly campaign! I already have an idea for his next campaign moving along those lines and I truly wonder why I didn't do it earlier! It is just so...obvious! :P

wow. what a year. i tried to vote every day, even if that's all I could do. there were a few i didn't vote at all cause both characters were just that lame. and thanks for the end show guys. that was pretty neat. specially since I wasn't around to see all the awesome campaigns.

Well the tournament is over, but let's not spam the closing ceremonies thread with waffle battles. I feel the most accomplished with my campaigning for Lafitte since I was practically the only one doing that. But that's all thanks to Skadi-chan's wonderful art. :3

For something that stretched out for nearly six months, filled the hiatus in the manga, and took an extra six months of planning before that, it's impossible to remember or credit every contribution, or even really try.

Thanks to Steven D. Teach, Ubiq, Tare_chan, Gekko135, and Urouge for helping run this thing with moderation, updating tournament matches, and providing a variety of different details over the course of many months, including images and random whatnots. (Tare in particular helped track down and cut out a LOT of the character images)

Captain Usopp and Chrissie also helped out a great deal with images in varying capacities, especially for the filler matches.

Special thanks to me, I think I put together about half of the versus posters and lots of other stuff.

Thanks to Brennen.exe, e1n, and the other admins and mods for what they contributed throughout.

Even though they have left us now, thanks go out to Ivotas, who was determined to make this work and made us figure out how to plan it for months behind the scenes, it was his baby all along. And a special thanks to Bad-Beat Ms. Suave Debonair for being no help whatsoever, but providing wit all the same.

And of course, thanks to everybody who voted and campaigned day in and day out, adding to the craziness in their own ways.

It was fun, it was exhausting, and we're crazy, because we're probably going to do it again next year. Now, take a break, and enjoy the rest of the forum again!
